Thermalright has unveiled the AI HydroNous R1, a compact mini PC designed to deliver high-performance computing in a small form factor. Measuring just 2.6 liters, the R1 combines a durable CNC aluminum alloy chassis with a custom liquid-cooling system to maintain stable operation under demanding workloads. The system is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which can reach a peak performance of 176 watts, making it suitable for users requiring significant processing power in a compact desktop setup.

The cooling solution of the AI HydroNous R1 includes a full-coverage copper water block, phase-change thermal interface material, a custom 180mm radiator, and two high-end LCP fans. Users can choose from three performance modes to balance between cooling efficiency and processing output. A 4.6-inch LCD on the front of the chassis provides real-time system monitoring, allowing users to track temperature, performance, and other system metrics at a glance.

Connectivity options are generous for a mini PC of this size. The R1 includes a 10GbE Ethernet port for fast wired networking and two USB4 ports for high-speed peripheral connections. Despite its small footprint, the AI HydroNous R1 integrates advanced cooling, connectivity, and monitoring features without compromising performance.
With this release, Thermalright positions the AI HydroNous R1 as a high-capacity mini PC that can serve as a desktop workstation for professionals or enthusiasts seeking a compact yet capable computing solution. Its combination of custom cooling, robust processing, and premium design makes it a noteworthy option in the mini PC market.
