SAPPHIRE Technology has officially launched the EDGE AI Series, a new generation of compact mini PCs designed to deliver high performance for artificial intelligence and edge computing applications. Following an early preview earlier this year, the company is now preparing for full global availability of the series, which aims to support modern workloads such as AI-enhanced productivity, intelligent automation, and real-time data processing.
At the center of each model is the AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor, combining a multi-core CPU, AMD Radeon 800M graphics, and an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capable of up to 50 trillion operations per second (TOPS). This combination allows the system to handle tasks such as local AI inference, content creation, and analytics with reduced latency and improved efficiency. The inclusion of AMD’s XDNA2 NPU architecture ensures faster and more private AI execution without relying on cloud connectivity.
Compact Size with Full Desktop Performance
The EDGE AI Series is built to offer desktop-class capability in an ultra-compact body measuring 117 x 111 x 30 mm. Despite its small size, it features a complete range of connectivity and expansion options. Users can install their own memory, storage, and operating system thanks to the barebone design, allowing flexible configuration for different use cases.
The system supports DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, M.2 NVMe SSDs, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and 2.5G Ethernet. Its tool-less chassis and magnetic top cover make upgrades and maintenance easier for IT teams and system integrators. This design approach suits environments where systems need to be deployed, upgraded, or replaced quickly.
