Redragon has added another wireless mechanical keyboard to its lineup with the launch of the KS99 Turbo, a 100-key model that combines a gasket-mounted design, five layers of sound-dampening material, RGB lighting, and an 8,000mAh battery. The keyboard is now available through JD.com in China, with prices starting at 249 yuan, or around $37 USD based on a simple currency conversion.
The KS99 Turbo is built around a 100-key layout and retains the 2U0 large keys, giving it a compact footprint while keeping a broader set of keys than smaller 75% and 80% keyboards. Redragon is offering three keycap color options: White-Blue UV, Black-Green UV, and Quantum Honeycomb. The latter uses a UV-printed pattern on the rear of the keyboard, adding a different visual treatment to the chassis.
The keyboard also includes RGB backlighting with support for approximately 16 million colors. A rotary knob on the upper-right side provides access to volume control, one-click mute, and lighting-effect switching, allowing several functions to be handled directly from the keyboard.
Under the keycaps, the KS99 Turbo uses a gasket structure paired with five layers of noise-dampening material. Redragon is offering two linear switch options, including the Dark Night switch and Frost Switch V3. Both switches have a conduction force of 40±10 gf, although their bottom-out travel differs. The Dark Night switch is rated at 3.30mm, while the Frost Switch V3 reaches 3.60mm.
Powering the wireless keyboard is an 8,000mAh built-in battery. Combined with tri-mode connectivity, the large battery gives the KS99 Turbo the hardware needed for both desktop and wireless setups. Redragon has not yet provided details on international availability or pricing outside China.
