Nubia has officially announced that its next-generation gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Pro series, will be unveiled on October 17. The company also shared the first official images, offering a detailed look at the design and build of the upcoming flagship. With this release, RedMagic aims to introduce a new approach to smartphone cooling by combining water and air systems in a single device, marking an industry-first implementation.
The RedMagic 11 Pro will arrive in four color variants — Transparent Deuterium Silver Wing, Transparent Deuterium Dark Night, Dark Knight, and Silver Wing Ares. Both transparent models feature a visible cooling chamber at the back, showcasing a ring-like system where blue coolant appears to circulate. This element not only plays a functional role but also provides a unique aesthetic touch that aligns with RedMagic’s gaming-focused identity.

The back panel maintains a flat surface design with no visible camera bump, a choice that continues RedMagic’s signature style of clean, industrial symmetry. On the front, the device houses a full-screen display with an under-display selfie camera, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted viewing experience for gaming and multimedia use.
One of the key highlights of the RedMagic 11 Pro series is its hybrid cooling mechanism, which merges active air cooling with an internal water circulation system. This setup is driven by the upgraded Wind 4.0 fan, capable of spinning at speeds up to 24,000 RPM. The cooling system also integrates a patented waterfall air duct designed to optimize airflow and thermal efficiency. Adding to its durability, the phone offers IPX8 water resistance, which further enhances its reliability during intensive use.
Under the hood, the RedMagic 11 Pro is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, positioning it among the most powerful Android devices of the year. The phone is rumored to feature an 8,000mAh battery, ensuring extended playtime for gaming sessions. It will also come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a 50-megapixel front camera. To improve control precision, RedMagic has reportedly integrated a dedicated touch response chip that minimizes latency and enhances input accuracy during gameplay.

According to RedMagic’s product manager, James Jiang, the RedMagic 11 Pro represents a major step forward in smartphone cooling technology. Jiang stated that the company’s goal is to move thermal management “a generation ahead,” giving users stable and consistent performance even under heavy load.
With these advancements, the RedMagic 11 Pro series is shaping up to be one of the most technically advanced gaming smartphones on the market. Its combination of innovative cooling, high-performance hardware, and immersive display design underscores Nubia’s ongoing focus on engineering devices built for serious gamers.
