Razer Launches Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X Webcams with 4K Clarity and AI-Based Tools

Razer has expanded its creator-focused webcam lineup with the launch of the Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X. Both models aim to deliver professional-grade image quality and easy-to-use software tools for creators, streamers, and professionals.

The Razer Kiyo V2 records in 4K at 30 frames per second, powered by Sony’s STARVIS image sensor for enhanced clarity and detail. It reproduces accurate colors and natural tones, even in low-light conditions. The webcam supports multiple formats, including MJPEG, YUY2, and NV12, allowing creators to maintain high-quality visuals during recording or live streaming.

Razer has partnered with Reincubate to integrate Camo Studio into the Kiyo V2, offering tools like auto-framing, background segmentation, and adaptive lighting. This collaboration enables users to access these features through a simple interface within Razer Synapse.

Addie Tan, Global Head of Lifestyle Division at Razer, stated that the Kiyo V2 continues the brand’s effort to improve creator tools by combining sharp 4K visuals with adaptive features. Aidan Fitzpatrick, CEO of Reincubate, mentioned that Camo Studio’s integration gives users greater control over their content.

The Kiyo V2 supports a wide range of customization through Razer Synapse, providing automatic and manual settings. One-click image enhancement adjusts exposure, white balance, and noise reduction for balanced visuals, while AI auto-framing keeps users centered as they move during streams. Advanced users can manually adjust ISO, shutter speed, and white balance for more control over their image output.

Additional tools include visual effects such as cinematic blur, spotlight, and background replacement. Users can also add overlays, watermarks, and handles to strengthen their personal branding during broadcasts or recordings.

Alongside the flagship model, Razer introduced the Kiyo V2 X, a 1440p 60 FPS webcam built for simplicity and performance. It includes fast autofocus, a wide-angle lens, a built-in microphone, and a privacy shutter. The Kiyo V2 X offers plug-and-play convenience with software customization options for creators seeking an accessible yet capable webcam.

Both the Kiyo V2 and Kiyo V2 X are designed to fit a range of creator workflows, combining high-quality imaging, smart software, and simple setup. Razer continues to expand its ecosystem for streamers and professionals who need reliable camera performance for everyday use.
