Razer has announced the Cobra HyperSpeed, the latest model in its Cobra series of gaming mice. Designed for right-handed users, the new mouse combines lightweight construction, high-precision hardware, and multiple connectivity options to suit different gaming setups.
The Cobra HyperSpeed weighs 62 grams, making it one of the lighter wireless gaming mice in Razer’s lineup. It includes nine programmable buttons, giving players the ability to set macros and shortcuts for various games. The onboard memory supports up to five profiles, allowing users to switch between configurations without the need for software when moving between devices or titles.
At its core, the mouse is powered by the Razer Focus X 26K Optical Sensor, offering a sensitivity of up to 26,000 DPI and a tracking accuracy of 99.6%. This ensures precise movement and response during gameplay. Razer’s Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 are also part of the package, rated for 100 million clicks for extended durability. The scroll wheel uses an optical design to improve accuracy and tactile feedback over mechanical options.
Lighting is handled by Razer’s Chroma RGB system, which features four customizable zones. Users can choose from 16.8 million colors and dynamic effects, with support for syncing lighting across more than 300 games.
For connectivity, the Cobra HyperSpeed supports three modes: HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz), Bluetooth, and wired via USB-C. Battery life is rated at up to 110 hours on HyperSpeed Wireless and up to 170 hours on Bluetooth. The mouse is also compatible with Razer’s optional wireless charging accessories, including the Mouse Dock Pro and Wireless Charging Puck.
The Cobra HyperSpeed expands the existing Cobra lineup, which now offers three models for different user needs. The original Cobra is a wired option aimed at straightforward setups, while the Cobra Pro is the high-end variant with maximum customization and features.
The Cobra HyperSpeed is available now through Razer’s online store, retail outlets, and authorized partners. It is priced at $99.99 USD, £99.99 GBP, or €119.99 EUR.
