Razer Introduces Raiju V3 Pro Controller for PlayStation 5 with Advanced TMR Thumbsticks and Pro HyperTriggers

Razer has unveiled the Raiju V3 Pro, a wireless gaming controller designed for competitive players on the PlayStation 5. The new model introduces a series of upgrades aimed at precision, comfort, and customization. Built with symmetrical TMR (Tension Magnetic Resistance) thumbsticks, Razer Pro HyperTriggers, and four removable mouse-click back buttons, the Raiju V3 Pro is positioned as a performance-driven controller for both professional and enthusiast gamers.

According to Razer, the Raiju V3 Pro’s symmetrical TMR thumbsticks deliver smoother and more accurate control by maintaining consistent tension and improving resistance feedback. The magnetic system also helps reduce drift, a common issue with traditional analog sticks, while consuming less power for longer battery life. Players can switch between different thumbstick caps to suit their preferred control feel for various game genres, including shooters, fighting, and action titles.

The Raiju V3 Pro also features Razer’s Pro HyperTriggers, which allow users to toggle between ultra-short mouse click-like actuation and full-range analog control. Through Razer Synapse 4, players can fine-tune trigger actuation points to match their preferred gameplay style. This function provides a balance between speed and precision, catering to both fast-paced competitive environments and games that require gradual input.

Razer has used its mecha-tactile PBT action buttons and an eight-way floating D-pad on the Raiju V3 Pro. These components are built from durable doubleshot PBT materials designed to maintain their texture and responsiveness even after extended play. The tactile feedback from these buttons is tuned to provide a crisp and consistent click with every press.

Connectivity is powered by Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology, offering low-latency communication between the controller and the PS5 console. The Raiju V3 Pro also supports a wired connection using a detachable USB Type-C cable. Players can store up to four custom profiles onboard and make adjustments via the Razer Mobile App or Razer Synapse 4. Options include remapping buttons, tuning sensitivity, and adjusting trigger behavior.

The controller’s design supports both traditional and claw grip styles, with two claw grip bumpers positioned for easier access during fast-paced gameplay. Four removable mouse-click back buttons further expand customization options, allowing users to reassign key functions for faster reactions during competitive play.

To complement its feature set, the Raiju V3 Pro includes a premium carrying case for portability and protection. The case also accommodates the detachable 2-meter USB Type-C cable, making it suitable for travel, tournaments, and LAN setups.

Jeffrey Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer, stated that the Raiju V3 Pro was developed in close collaboration with professional players. “From the TMR thumbsticks to the HyperTriggers, every feature was designed to enhance control and precision based on direct feedback from esports professionals,” he said.

The Razer Raiju V3 Pro is now available through Razer’s official website and select retailers. More details about the controller can be found here.
