Pulsar Releases Pikachu-Themed X2 CrazyLight Gaming Mouse With 37g Design and 8K Polling Rate

Pulsar has announced the launch of the Pikachu-themed X2 CrazyLight mouse, expanding its lineup of limited co-branded gaming peripherals. The new Mouse is based on the company’s X2 CrazyLight platform and is currently available only in South Korea through Pulsar’s official online store.

The Pikachu edition features a translucent outer shell finished in yellow, paired with black stripe accents inspired by Pikachu’s iconic markings. The transparent design allows internal components to remain partially visible, giving the mouse a distinct visual identity while keeping the overall shape identical to the standard X2 CrazyLight. Pulsar has retained the symmetrical body design, making the mouse suitable for both left- and right-handed users who prefer fingertip or claw grip styles.

Included with the mouse is a standee-style wireless receiver made from acrylic. Pulsar states that the receiver features an LED strip around its exterior, which changes color when users cycle through different DPI levels. This design allows DPI settings to be identified visually without relying on on-screen software or indicators on the mouse itself. The receiver also functions as a display piece, aligning with the collectible nature of the Pokémon collaboration.

From a hardware perspective, the Pikachu-themed X2 CrazyLight matches the specifications of the standard model. The mouse weighs approximately 37 grams, placing it among the lightest wireless gaming mice currently on the market. It is equipped with Pulsar’s XS-1 optical sensor, offering sensitivity up to 32,000 DPI. The mouse also supports a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz and includes a 20,000 FPS Turbo mode for reduced input latency.

Pulsar has fitted the mouse with optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks, along with a dust-resistant scroll wheel encoder designed to improve durability during extended use. These specifications target competitive players who prioritize low weight and fast response times over additional features such as RGB lighting on the mouse body itself.

The Pikachu co-branded Pulsar X2 CrazyLight mouse is priced at 169,000 won in South Korea, which converts to roughly USD $125 to $130, depending on current exchange rates. Pulsar has not shared information regarding availability in other regions, and no global release timeline has been confirmed at this time.
