NuPhy has expanded its Node series with the Node 100, a mechanical keyboard featuring an 1800 layout that combines a full-size num pad with a more compact horizontal footprint. The design continues the retro-inspired style seen in the Node 75, including a touch-sensitive strip on the right edge, similar to the Apple Touch Bar, and dot matrix indicator LEDs on the left side.
The Node 100 uses a PCB gasket mount and a plastic chassis, keeping the price at $109.99. It is offered in Ink Grey, Lunar White, and Light Pink, with high- and low-profile versions available. Users can choose from linear, silent, or light tactile switches. Wireless connectivity is supported via 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth, with USB-C as a wired option.
The low-profile model uses NuPhy’s Low-Profile Nano switches, based on Gateron Low-Profile 3.0, and is marketed as a portable option, though it weighs 787 grams. Both models use PBT keycaps, with nSA profile and dye-sublimated legends on the low-profile version, and double-shot mSA keycaps on the high-profile model. Two-stage adjustable feet allow typing angles of 6°, 9°, and 12°, and the front height is 13.8 mm for low-profile and 18.9 mm for high-profile.
The 1800 layout is designed for productivity tasks like data entry, maintaining the full-size zero key while reducing the keyboard’s horizontal size. The Node 100 is fully remappable via NuPhy’s web interface and runs on NuPhyIO firmware, offering up to 1,000 hours of battery life with RGB off and about 100 hours with lighting enabled. NuPhy also provides 3D models and reference files, enabling users to print accessories like pen holders, phone stands, and display docks for added customization.
The Node 100 brings a combination of compact design, customizable features, and retro styling to the full-size keyboard segment, making it suitable for both office and home use.
