Nextorage has announced its new NX-F2AE UHS-II V90 series of UHS-II SD memory cards, with availability planned for this summer. The announcement was made on February 19, adding a new high-performance option to the company’s flash storage lineup aimed at professional creators and advanced users.
The Nextorage NX-F2AE UHS-II V90 SD Card is built using 3D TLC NAND flash memory and will be offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities. All models carry the V90 video speed class rating, ensuring a minimum sustained write speed of 90MB/s. Nextorage states that the cards can deliver maximum read and write speeds of up to 300MB/s under optimal conditions. These specifications are designed to support high-resolution video capture, including 4K recording and other high-bitrate formats that require consistent data throughput.

As UHS-II compliant products, the NX-F2AE cards feature a second row of pins to enable higher transfer rates compared to UHS-I solutions. This helps reduce buffer clearing times and supports stable continuous shooting in compatible cameras. For videographers, the V90 certification is particularly important, as it guarantees performance levels required for professional-grade recording without dropped frames.
The inclusion of a 1TB model addresses growing storage demands in content production, especially for long recording sessions and large file sizes generated by modern mirrorless and cinema cameras. While pricing has not yet been disclosed, Nextorage plans to release the Nextorage NX-F2AE UHS-II V90 SD Card series around summer, with further details on regional availability expected closer to launch.
