MSI Force GC300 Wireless Game Controller with Support Multi-Platform

MSI has introduced the Force GC300 Wireless game controller, designed to provide universal compatibility across a wide range of gaming platforms, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation consoles. The device’s support extends to console generations that go back over a decade, making it a versatile choice for gamers using both modern and older systems. This new controller is set to offer multiple connectivity options, catering to a variety of user preferences and gaming setups.

The Force GC300 provides three primary forms of connectivity to ensure optimal performance and convenience during gameplay. The first is through a 2.4 GHz RF connection, which operates via a USB-C to RF dongle that is included with the controller. This option is designed to offer low-latency performance, ideal for responsive gaming sessions. For those who prefer a more streamlined, cable-free experience, the controller also supports Bluetooth connectivity, which eliminates the need for a dongle. Finally, the Force GC300 can also be connected through a USB wired option. This method not only reduces input latency but also allows for charging the controller’s battery during extended gameplay sessions.

Equipped with a 600 mAh battery, the Force GC300 promises up to 20 hours of gaming on a full charge, ensuring players can engage in lengthy gaming marathons without frequent interruptions for recharging. The controller’s design adheres to a traditional gamepad layout, featuring two thumbsticks, a D-pad, four action buttons, and two sets of triggers, including ring triggers, for a familiar and intuitive user experience. Additionally, the controller is equipped with a 4-pole headset jack, allowing players to connect their headsets for in-game audio, enhancing the overall immersion.
