MOREFINE has launched the NEXUS N1 AI workstation, a NAS platform that integrates workstation-level hardware inside a compact 15.65-liter chassis. The Mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8845HS processor, targeting users who need a balance between storage capacity, network bandwidth, and GPU acceleration for homelab and local AI workloads.

The chassis measures 218×193×372 mm and is constructed from a mix of aluminum and steel. An integrated 800W power supply comes pre-installed, allowing the unit to handle discrete graphics cards and multiple storage devices without relying on external power bricks. The internal layout includes two ECC-enabled DDR5-5600 SODIMM memory slots, providing support for error-correcting memory in professional and data-sensitive environments.

The NEXUS N1 features a full-length PCIe 4.0 ×8 expansion slot designed to handle add-in cards drawing up to 400W. It provides clearance for graphics cards up to 330 mm in length and 66 mm in width, making it compatible with a wide range of high-performance GPUs and expansion hardware. This design enables support for workstation-class or AI-oriented graphics cards, high-speed networking adapters, and other expansion solutions typically reserved for full-sized desktop systems. By integrating high-capacity NAS storage with discrete GPU compute power, the NEXUS N1 can be configured for AI inference workloads, content creation pipelines, virtualization environments, or software development setups, all within a compact storage-focused platform.

Storage expansion is another major focus. The system provides three M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4 NVMe slots for high-speed solid-state drives and four 3.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays for mechanical hard disks. This setup supports hybrid configurations that mix NVMe performance storage with high-capacity HDD arrays, suitable for media libraries, backup servers, and large dataset management.

For networking, the NEXUS N1 includes dual 10GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports, enabling high-throughput file transfers and faster access to shared storage across a local network. Connectivity options also include one 40Gbps USB-C port, one 10Gbps USB-A port, one 5Gbps USB-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0 output, and a UHS-II SD card reader.
A 3.0-inch touchscreen display with a 170×560 resolution is integrated into the chassis, offering quick system monitoring and status information directly on the device. MOREFINE lists the barebone version, without storage, at $759, positioning the NEXUS N1 as a flexible NAS and AI workstation solution for advanced users building compact, high-performance homelab systems.
