MAXSUN Unveils PTM UI BIOS Upgrade Plan for AMD AM5 Motherboards

MAXSUN has officially revealed its PTM (PC To Mobile) UI new BIOS upgrade adaptation plan for AMD’s AM5 series motherboards. The announcement outlines which models will natively support the new BIOS interface, which ones have already received updates, and which will be upgraded in the coming months. The PTM UI BIOS brings a more unified interface across MAXSUN’s latest motherboards, aiming to enhance the user experience while maintaining compatibility with the AM5 platform.

MAXSUN confirmed that several upcoming AM5 motherboards will launch with native PTM UI BIOS support. The list includes the MS-iCraft X870M, MS-iCraft B850 AIGA, MS-iCraft B850M CROSS, MS-iCraft B850M WIFI, MS-Terminator B850BKB WIFI, MS-Terminator B850M PRO II WIFI, and MS-Challenger B850M-B WIFI.

These models have not yet been released, but their inclusion in the native support list indicates that MAXSUN is preparing a broader range of products under the AMD AM5 platform. This announcement also confirms for the first time that MAXSUN is actively developing X870 motherboards, expanding beyond its current B650 and B850 offerings.

In addition to the new releases, MAXSUN has also updated several existing B850 motherboards with PTM UI BIOS support. The models now compatible with the latest BIOS include the MS-Terminator B850M PRO WIFI, MS-Terminator B850M PRO DARK WIFI, MS-Terminator B850M WIFI, and MS-Terminator B850M DARK WIFI. These updates bring the same BIOS interface improvements found on newer models, providing users with consistent system control and easier access to settings.

The company also shared plans for subsequent updates. The next wave of BIOS upgrades will cover the B850 eSport and Challenger series, as well as the B650 Terminator, eSport, and Challenger series motherboards. These updates will be released gradually to ensure stability and proper optimization for each model.

While most AM5 boards are included in the roadmap, MAXSUN confirmed that three models will not receive the PTM UI BIOS. These are the MS-Challenger A620A 2.5G, MS-B650M I-CAFE, and MS-B850M I-CAFE PRO. The company noted that these motherboards are designed for budget or commercial use, such as internet café systems, and are not part of the DIY or enthusiast-focused lineup.

With this PTM UI BIOS adaptation plan, MAXSUN is expanding its AM5 motherboard lineup while unifying the user experience across product categories. The confirmation of new models like the X870M and additional updates for B850 and B650 series boards demonstrate the company’s continued support for AMD’s latest desktop platform. The gradual rollout ensures that users will have access to the updated BIOS interface across a wide range of upcoming and existing motherboards.
