With eight days remaining until release, Deck Nine Games and Square Enix have shared the full PC specifications for Life is Strange: Reunion, outlining the hardware needed across different graphical presets. The requirements have drawn attention due to the level of GPU power listed for the highest settings, which is uncommon for a narrative-driven title.
For players aiming to run the game at 4K resolution using the “Hella High” preset at 30 frames per second, the official recommendation includes either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 or an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX. While this places the game among more demanding PC releases on paper, the requirements align closely with what the series has already established in its most recent entry.

Looking back at Life is Strange: Double Exposure, released in 2024, similar hardware was required to reach its top “Cinematic” preset at 4K with a 30FPS target. In that sense, Reunion continues with a comparable technical baseline rather than introducing a noticeable jump in system demands. This may indicate that the underlying technology and rendering approach remain consistent with the previous installment.
On the content side, the new entry revisits key characters, bringing back Chloe Price alongside Max Caulfield, with the story focusing on the aftermath of earlier events and the unresolved situation surrounding Caledon. Player choices will again influence how the narrative develops, including the final outcome.

The series is also expanding beyond games. A live-action adaptation is currently in development at Amazon, where Maisy Stella has been cast as Chloe and Tatum Grace Hopkins will portray Max. The casting reflects a continued push to bring the franchise to a broader audience.
With the launch approaching, the newly released specifications give PC players a clearer idea of expected performance targets and hardware requirements ahead of release.
