Keychron’s gaming-focused sub-brand Lemokey has expanded its Hall Effect keyboard lineup with the launch of the L0 HE 8K, a one-handed gaming keyboard designed for competitive play. This new Keyboard focuses on precision performance and durability, positioning itself as a compact alternative to traditional gaming keyboards.
Design and Layout
The Lemokey L0 HE 8K features 35 keys taken from the left half of the QWERTY layout, offering essential inputs for gaming. Alongside the keys is a metal control knob on the right edge, which can be programmed for volume adjustments, macros, or other functions. Both the knob and keys are fully customizable and remappable through Lemokey’s configuration software, giving players control over layouts and settings.
The chassis is built from CNC-machined aluminum, giving the keyboard a solid structure. Unlike some recent Lemokey models, the L0 HE does not use a gasket-mount design. To help manage acoustics and vibrations, the keyboard includes multiple layers of sound-damping material.
Switches and Customization
At the core of the keyboard are Lemokey’s new Ultra-Fast Lime Magnetic Switches. These linear switches use a dust-proof box stem for increased stability and longevity. With a light 25 gf starting weight and 48 gf bottom-out force, they are designed for fast response. Users can fine-tune actuation points with precision up to 0.01 mm, adjustable to a maximum of 3.35 mm.
Keycaps and RGB Lighting
The L0 HE comes with a unique “nuclear reactor” keycap design. Unlike traditional shine-through keycaps, these PBT double-shot caps have opaque tops with transparent side windows that highlight the keyboard’s south-facing per-key RGB LEDs. The keycaps follow the Cherry profile, ensuring compatibility with other sets and long-lasting legends.
Connectivity and Polling Rate
The L0 HE is wired-only and connects via a rear-mounted USB Type-C port. This allows for an 8,000 Hz polling rate and a 256 kHz single-key scan rate, features that emphasize low-latency performance for competitive gaming.

The Lemokey L0 HE 8K is priced at $159.99 and is available exclusively through Lemokey’s online store. The device is sold in a single Cyber colorway, which features a black finish with green metal accents.
