KTC has announced the launch of its new gaming monitor, the H27E6S, targeting users looking for high refresh rates at a lower price point. The monitor is now available in China through JD.com with a listed price of 999 yuan, which is approximately $140 USD based on current exchange rates.
The KTC H27E6S comes with a 27-inch 2K resolution display (2560×1440) and uses a Fast IPS panel. It supports a native 240Hz refresh rate, with an overclocked option that pushes the panel up to 275Hz. This makes it suitable for competitive gaming, where smoother motion and reduced input lag are often a priority. The screen uses a matte anti-glare coating to limit reflections under bright lighting conditions.
Color performance includes 100% coverage of the sRGB color gamut, which is commonly used for games and general media. The monitor also carries HDR 400 certification, offering higher peak brightness compared to standard SDR displays. Additional features include MPRT support to help reduce motion blur and a hardware-based low blue light mode designed to reduce eye fatigue during long gaming sessions.
On the connectivity side, the H27E6S includes two HDMI 2.0 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, providing support for multiple devices such as PCs and consoles. It also features a USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The included stand supports height adjustment, rotation, and tilt, allowing users to adjust the display to their preferred viewing position. Built-in speakers are present, although KTC has not shared detailed specifications for them.
At 999 yuan ($140 USD), the KTC H27E6S is positioned as a competitively priced 2K high-refresh-rate monitor. KTC has not yet confirmed availability outside China.
