Khadas has revealed its Mind Go concept project, a new device designed to function in three distinct modes: laptop, tablet, and mini PC with a screen. The project aims to provide a flexible computing solution that combines portability with performance, adapting to different user needs.

The Mind Go tablet itself is a fanless design, featuring integrated speakers and a front-facing camera. It supports the Mind Pencil stylus, allowing for precise input and note-taking. The prototype includes an 11.6-inch LCD panel, weighs approximately 600 grams, and is about 6.1mm thick. Khadas expects that using an OLED panel could further reduce the thickness to around 5.5mm while also lowering the overall weight, improving portability without compromising display quality.

In laptop mode, the tablet connects to a keyboard module with a built-in touchpad. This module also contains a battery, increasing the total capacity to 45Wh. According to Khadas, this setup can provide up to nine hours of local video playback, offering extended use without frequent charging.

For desktop or mini PC mode, the Mind Go pairs with the Mind Go Stand docking station. This dock expands connectivity options with additional ports and integrates a cooling system, which allows the device to deliver approximately twice the performance compared to tablet mode. This combination provides users with a desktop-like experience in a compact form factor.

Khadas is currently seeking feedback on several key aspects of the Mind Go, including processor selection, screen size, and panel type. The device is still in the early stages of development, and no release date has been announced. The Mind Go concept reflects Khadas’ approach to adaptable and portable computing, offering multiple modes in a single device.
