Keychron has officially launched the K2 HE Concrete Edition and K2 HE Resin Edition, following their earlier preview at CES 2026. Both Keyboards are now available through the company’s online store at a retail price of $199.99. The new variants are based on the existing K2 HE platform and retain the same core hardware, with updates focused on chassis materials, finish, and select structural improvements.

Under the hood, the keyboards continue to use the same MCU and TMR sensor architecture as the standard K2 HE. They are equipped with Gateron Double-Rail Magnetic Nebula switches, offering 4 mm of total travel and adjustable actuation. Users can access analog input features and customize settings through Keychron Launcher. The polling rate remains at 1 kHz, and wireless connectivity is supported via Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz. The layout stays at 75%, consistent with previous K2 HE models, making it suitable for gaming and productivity setups that require a compact footprint with dedicated arrow keys and function row access.

The differences between the two new editions are primarily visual and material-based. The Resin Edition features a smoky translucent case with a marbled pattern that shifts under different lighting conditions. It measures 321.13 × 131.3 mm, with a front height of 27.06 mm and a 4-degree typing angle. The Concrete Edition adopts a solid gray finish with matching keycaps and a minimalist design language. Its dimensions are slightly different at 322.13 × 132.13 mm, with a 27.39 mm front height and the same 4-degree typing angle. Both models use an aluminum switch plate and tray-mount construction.

Although the internal hardware remains largely unchanged, Keychron has added internal metal reinforcements to both editions. The power and OS selector switches have also been upgraded to metal toggle switches. The company states that the stabilizers have been improved with reinforced side walls to reduce rattle and deliver smoother key operation.

Keycap materials differ between the two versions. The Concrete Edition retains OSA-profile PBT keycaps similar to the original K2 HE. The Resin Edition uses Cherry-profile transparent PC keycaps, allowing the north-facing per-key RGB lighting to shine through more clearly.
With these updates, the K2 HE Concrete and Resin Editions expand the K2 HE lineup with new material options while maintaining the magnetic switch performance and wireless functionality that defined the original release.
