A new mini PC called Keebmon has appeared on Kickstarter, combining high-end mobile hardware with a built-in display and mechanical keyboard in a single chassis. The system is powered by the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, based on Strix Point. It integrates Radeon graphics, allowing the device to handle everyday productivity tasks, media work, and light gaming without the need for a dedicated graphics card.
The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is designed for premium laptops and compact systems, offering multi-core CPU performance along with AI acceleration. In the Keebmon mini PC, it forms the core of what the company describes as a three-in-one concept: a mini desktop, a 13-inch 21:9 ultrawide touchscreen, and an 84-key RGB low-profile mechanical keyboard. The keyboard supports hot-swapping, giving users the option to replace switches without soldering. The chassis is made from CNC-machined aluminum alloy, aiming to balance durability and portability.
For users who require additional graphics performance, the system includes an OCuLink interface running at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds. This enables connection to an external GPU enclosure, expanding the device’s gaming and rendering capabilities beyond its integrated Radeon solution. Such flexibility may appeal to users who want a compact base system that can scale with their needs.
Memory support goes up to 64GB of DDR5, and the RAM can be upgraded by the user. Storage is provided by a PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe solid-state drive, with 2TB included by default and support for expansion up to 8TB.
