Honor Teases WIN Gaming Mouse With PAW3395 Sensor, Targets Esports Segment

Honor has revealed more details about its upcoming WIN Series Gaming Mouse ahead of the official launch window in April. Lin Lin, Minister of the Smart Life Business Department at Honor China, recently showcased a new mouse belonging to the WIN lineup, hinting at the company’s intention to compete in the esports peripheral segment. The teaser was accompanied by the description “GPW like +1,” suggesting a shape inspired by symmetrical designs commonly used by competitive players.

Based on the images shared, the mouse adopts a familiar, rounded, and balanced structure that supports a wide range of grip styles. The design includes two side buttons on the left, while the Honor WIN branding is placed on the rear of the shell. The overall appearance follows a minimal approach typically associated with performance-focused gaming mice.

Lin Lin confirmed in the comments section that the device uses the PAW3395 optical sensor, a component widely used in modern gaming mice targeting higher performance tiers. The sensor supports a maximum sensitivity of 26,000 DPI, tracking speeds of up to 650 IPS, and an acceleration rating of 50G. The mouse also supports a polling rate of up to 4,000Hz, allowing faster communication between the device and system. Some manufacturers have enabled 8,000Hz polling via an additional receiver, though Honor has not yet confirmed whether this option will be available for this model.

The “GPW like +1” reference indicates positioning against products inspired by the shape popularized by Logitech’s GPW lineup, which remains widely used in competitive gaming due to its symmetrical layout and relatively lightweight structure. By adopting a similar design direction, Honor appears focused on offering an alternative within the mid-to-high-end segment while expanding its gaming hardware portfolio.

The WIN series is expected to include additional devices alongside the gaming laptop scheduled for release in April. Further details regarding specifications, pricing, and regional availability are likely to be shared closer to the official announcement.
