These cables are available in black and white, with various options including VGA/CPU 2×8 PIN, VGA 3×8 PIN, MB 24 PIN, and 12VHPWR Cable variants. For this review, we received the VGA 3×8 PIN, MB 24 PIN, and 12VHPWR cables in white. The box includes only the cables, with no additional accessories or extras provided.
Design
The GAMEMAX PSU Extension ARGB Cables combine flexibility and practicality with a design that seamlessly integrates LED strips into soft silicone extension cables. The silicone tubes offer greater adaptability, allowing for easier cable management even in compact cases. The cables we have include the 24-pin motherboard connector, the 3×8-pin GPU connector, and the 12VHPWR cable designed for RTX 40/50 series GPUs. Each cable varies in size, with the 24-pin measuring 285 x 56.5 x 17 mm, the 3×8-pin at 345 x 56.5 x 17 mm, and the 12VHPWR cable slightly slimmer and longer at 350 x 40.5 x 17 mm.
The 24-pin motherboard connector and the 3×8 Pin GPU connector feature transparent crystal plugs, providing a clean, modern look. Inside these transparent connectors, the pins are solidly constructed to ensure durability. For the new RTX 40/50 series, the 12VHPWR cable comes with a white non-transparent plug that complements the overall white design. Additionally, the cable uses silver-plated wires, helping to minimize the potential for temperature buildup and enhancing overall performance.

The GAMEMAX ARGB PSU Extension Cables come equipped with two 5V connectors: a 3-pin male and a 3-pin female. These allow you to link your motherboard’s ARGB extension cable with VGA ARGB extension cables for seamless lighting synchronization. They are compatible with popular RGB sync software, including ASUS AURA, MSI Mystic Light RGB, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, and ASRock RGB Sync. However, they do not include built-in controllers, so you will need a motherboard with a 5V ARGB interface or an external 5V ARGB lighting controller to activate the lighting.
