Forza Horizon 6 Release Date May Have Leaked Through Forza Horizon 5 Pop-Up

The release timeline for Forza Horizon 6 may have surfaced earlier than expected, thanks to a reported in-game pop-up found within Forza Horizon 5. Although Microsoft has already confirmed that the next entry in the open-world racing series is planned for a 2026 launch, no specific date has been officially announced so far. The newly shared information could point to a May release window.

According to a post shared by X user @XBOXF10, an unexpected promotional message appeared in Forza Horizon 5 after exiting the garage menu. The message reportedly promoted a pre-order offer for Forza Horizon 6 and included early access details. The text stated that players would be able to “play 4 days early starting May 15,” which suggests a full launch date of May 19, 2026.

If accurate, this would place Forza Horizon 6 in a similar release period to previous entries in the series, which often arrive in the first half of the year. However, neither Microsoft nor Playground Games has confirmed the authenticity of the pop-up, and the information should be treated as unconfirmed until an official announcement is made.

The reported pre-order offer also outlines a wide range of bundled content. Players who pre-order the game would receive access to two post-launch expansions, a welcome pack, VIP membership, the Car Pass, and the Time Attack Car Pass. In addition, the bundle reportedly includes an exclusive pre-tuned Ferrari J50 that becomes available when Forza Horizon 6 launches.

The same image also claims that Forza Horizon 6 will include a total of 550 vehicles, along with the largest open world ever featured in a Forza title. If these details are accurate, the upcoming game could represent a noticeable increase in scale compared to Forza Horizon 5, which already offered an expansive map and a large vehicle roster.

Leaks appearing within existing games are not unheard of, but they often result from placeholder assets or test content. As a result, the reported pop-up could change or be removed before any official reveal. Still, the appearance of pre-order messaging inside Forza Horizon 5 suggests that Microsoft may be preparing for a formal announcement in the near future.

Until then, fans will have to wait for confirmation from Playground Games regarding the release date, supported platforms, and final content details for Forza Horizon 6.
