EWEADN has introduced its new ES68 Dawn Wired Magnetic Switch Keyboard, developed in collaboration with StarShine, targeting the high-performance gaming segment with a focus on speed, precision, and build quality. The keyboard combines advanced sensing technology with a refined internal structure to improve responsiveness in competitive scenarios.
The ES68 Dawn is built around a new input solution jointly developed by EWEADN and StarShine, offering a 32kHz polling rate and a 256kHz scan rate. The company claims a 0.03ms response time and 0.001mm Rapid Trigger precision, aiming to reduce input latency and improve key-actuation accuracy for fast-paced gaming inputs where timing is critical.

The chassis is constructed from CNC-machined aluminum, providing a solid and rigid frame. It also includes USB-C 5Gbps ports on both sides, giving users more flexibility in cable placement depending on their setup. Two external metal buttons are placed on the keyboard body, allowing users to switch Rapid Trigger modes and control media functions without software interaction. A full-length ARGB-diffused light strip runs across the keyboard, delivering uniform lighting across the surface.

Inside, the keyboard uses a 1.6mm FR4 four-layer waterproof PCB combined with a high-frequency MCU, nine independent ADC units, and a fourth-generation Hall sensor system. The structure follows a gasket-mounted design with an aluminum alloy positioning plate and five layers of sound-absorbing material, aimed at improving typing stability and reducing hollow sound during use.

The ES68 Dawn comes equipped with Gateron Magnet Pro Sport switches, offering an actuation force range between 36 and 50gf. The keycaps are made of CHERRY high-profile PC material with a five-sided matte finish, designed for durability and improved grip. EWEADN also notes a 35% increase in backlight transmittance through the top cover design, enhancing RGB visibility.
With its focus on high-speed input performance, magnetic switch technology, and a reinforced aluminum build, the ES68 Dawn enters a growing market of competitive gaming keyboards where latency and precision are becoming key selling points.
