EPOMAKER has launched the TH80 V2 series (PRO version) mechanical keyboard, expanding its range of compact keyboards aimed at gaming and productivity users. The new model adopts a 75% ANSI layout that balances space efficiency with functionality, retaining essential keys while reducing the overall footprint compared to full-size keyboards.
The TH80 V2 series supports tri-mode connectivity, allowing operation through USB wired connection, Bluetooth, or 2.4GHz wireless. This provides compatibility with a wide range of platforms, including Windows PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The keyboard also includes a rotary knob positioned in the upper-right corner, enabling quick adjustments such as volume control or other customizable functions.
The PRO version introduces an additional feature in the form of a 1.06-inch TFT LCD color screen placed on the lower-right side of the keyboard. The display can be configured to show system information, custom images, or status indicators, adding a level of personalization that has become increasingly common in recent mechanical keyboard releases.
From a structural standpoint, the keyboard uses an ABS plastic chassis with a front height of 18.5mm and a rear height of 32.5mm. Internally, the TH80 V2 adopts a gasket-mounted design combined with a 1.2mm FR4 slotted PCB. This configuration is intended to provide consistent keystroke response and reduce internal vibration during typing.
The internal assembly also includes a horizontally slotted PC positioning plate along with five layers of sound-absorbing damping materials. These layers help reduce internal echo and improve typing acoustics, offering a more controlled sound profile compared to traditional tray-mounted keyboards.
EPOMAKER offers two linear switch options with this model, including the Creamy Jade Switch and the Sea Salt Silent V2 Switch. Both switches are designed to deliver a smooth keystroke without tactile feedback, making them suitable for gaming and extended typing sessions. The keyboard supports full hot-swappable switch sockets, allowing users to replace switches without soldering.
ARGB LED backlighting is included, providing per-key illumination customization through supported software. The keyboard ships with original factory-height keycaps, maintaining a familiar typing profile suitable for a wide range of users.
