Enhanced Cooling with Core Touch Technology 2.0
The AK G2 series incorporates DeepCool’s updated Core Touch Technology 2.0 (CTT 2.0), designed to improve heat dissipation through better contact between the heat pipes and the processor surface. With a refined tower layout and smaller footprint, the AK G2 achieves better performance efficiency compared to earlier models.
Each cooler in the series is available in configurations featuring four, five, or six heat pipes, offering users multiple options depending on system requirements.
Updated Design and Build
Continuing the familiar design philosophy of the AK lineup, the AK G2 series is built with precision-machined copper bases and a structured matrix fin array that enhances airflow and heat exchange. The coolers feature DeepCool’s new fan system equipped with hydraulic bearings and a three-phase, six-slot, four-pole motor for smoother operation and reduced vibration.
The fans operate with a dynamic PWM range of up to 2000 RPM and support a 0-RPM Startup/Stop mode for quieter idle performance. DeepCool’s Activate Clearing Tech (ACT) automatically removes dust buildup from the fan blades and heatsink during system startup, maintaining consistent cooling efficiency over time.
Refined Appearance and Installation
The AK G2 introduces a new design element with a wood-grain top cover, combining aesthetic appeal with a durable structure. Each unit also includes a matrix-style decal for system customization. Installation has been improved through a reinforced metal mounting bracket compatible with Intel and AMD sockets.
For the AK620 G2 model, DeepCool includes an offset mounting mechanism that increases RAM clearance while maintaining balanced pressure on the CPU.
AK G2 DIGITAL NYX: Monitoring and Control Integration
The AK G2 DIGITAL NYX version extends the series with integrated monitoring and adaptive performance controls. Powered by the updated DeepCreative software, it enables users to switch between automatic balancing and preset modes such as Sleep, Office, Gaming, and Overclocking.
A quad-segmented display is integrated into the cooler, showing real-time CPU temperature, usage, power draw, and frequency. The display connects through USB 2.0 and includes a temperature alert indicator for easier system monitoring.
