Corsair has announced the addition of two new PCIe 5.0 NVMe M.2 solid-state drives to its growing storage lineup. The MP700 PRO XT and MP700 MICRO are designed to extend high-speed performance across multiple system types, from desktop gaming PCs to compact laptops and portable devices. Both models are equipped with next-generation controllers, high-density 3D TLC NAND, and advanced power efficiency to deliver fast performance while maintaining reliable operation.
The Corsair MP700 PRO XT represents the brand’s latest high-performance Gen 5 SSD for desktop users seeking top-tier storage speeds. It delivers sequential read speeds of up to 14,900 MB/s and write speeds reaching 14,500 MB/s, enabling faster operating system boot times, reduced game load durations, and quick file transfers. This model is also optimized for Microsoft DirectStorage, a technology that allows games to load data directly from the SSD to the GPU, reducing latency and improving responsiveness in supported titles.

To help maintain stable operation during intensive workloads, the MP700 PRO XT features an efficient design that balances performance and thermal output. Its compatibility with the Corsair SSD Toolbox software allows users to monitor drive health, update firmware, and manage drive settings easily. Available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities, the MP700 PRO XT is built to meet the needs of modern performance desktops and gaming systems. Corsair also plans to introduce additional capacity options in early 2026.
For smaller systems, Corsair introduced the MP700 MICRO, a compact PCIe 5.0 x4 NVMe SSD that brings high-speed storage to space-constrained devices. Built in the M.2 2242 form factor, it is designed for thin and light notebooks, mini PCs, and small-form-factor systems. Despite its compact size, the MP700 MICRO offers impressive sequential read speeds of up to 10,000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 8,500 MB/s, providing faster data access and shorter load times for both productivity and gaming tasks.

Like its larger counterpart, the MP700 MICRO is supported by the Corsair SSD Toolbox software and backed by a five-year limited warranty. The drive is available in 2 TB and 4 TB variants, combining high density and endurance in a smaller footprint suitable for portable computing.
Both new SSDs are available immediately through Corsair’s webstore and its network of authorized retailers and distributors worldwide. The Corsair MP700 PRO XT is priced at $159.99 for the 1 TB model and $249.99 for the 2 TB version, while the MP700 MICRO 4 TB model carries a price of $484.99.
With the introduction of these two PCIe 5.0 drives, Corsair continues to strengthen its position in the high-performance storage segment. The MP700 PRO XT delivers cutting-edge performance for power users and gamers, while the MP700 MICRO brings next-generation SSD technology to thinner, lighter, and smaller systems that traditionally faced space limitations. Both drives reflect Corsair’s ongoing commitment to delivering reliable, high-speed storage solutions for a wide range of computing platforms.
