Colorful Technology Company Limited has announced the release of the SMART 900, a mini PC aimed at users who need strong computing capabilities in a compact form factor. Designed for students, content creators, and professionals, the SMART 900 integrates a high-performance processor, advanced graphics, and a dedicated AI engine in a 4-liter chassis.
The core of the SMART 900 is the new Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, which is based on AMD’s latest Zen 5 architecture. This 16-core, 32-thread chip features a boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz and is supported by 80 MB of cache. The processor is paired with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics built on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, offering 40 compute units. This setup allows the SMART 900 to handle both everyday computing tasks and more demanding workloads such as video rendering and graphic design.
What sets the system apart is the inclusion of a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) rated at 50 TOPS (trillions of operations per second), which is intended to accelerate workloads involving machine learning, image processing, and AI-assisted content creation. While AI features have become increasingly common in mobile and desktop computing, integrating this level of capability into a compact mini PC reflects a growing demand for localized AI performance across a range of professional fields.
The SMART 900 also includes a variety of modern connectivity options.
