The Minimi40 introduces a functional design that draws inspiration from a lunchbox-style enclosure. Its removable lid serves two purposes: protecting the keyboard during transport and acting as a palm rest when typing. The keyboard is available in five finishes—white, black, green, purple, and pink—catering to a range of preferences. It also supports two layout types: standard diagonal and orthogonal, allowing users to choose the typing experience that suits them best.
CannonKeys offers two main versions of the Minimi40. The wired hot-swappable model is priced at $110 USD, while the wireless hot-swappable version is listed at $125 USD. Both versions allow for easy switch replacement without soldering.
