ASUS has introduced the RT-BE58 Go, a compact WiFi 7 travel router built for mobile users, hybrid workers, and small living spaces. The new device delivers high-speed wireless connectivity, enhanced security features, and flexible usage modes. It has already received recognition with a 2025 CES Innovation Award and a 2025 Red Dot Product Design Award.
The ASUS RT-BE58 Go supports WiFi 7 with speeds reaching 3600 Mbps. It features Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K QAM for faster throughput and reduced latency. Dual-band MLO enables the router to switch between frequency bands, ensuring smooth performance for streaming, video calls, gaming, and file transfers.

This makes the router suitable for users managing multiple connected devices, whether for work or entertainment.
ASUS has designed the RT-BE58 Go with three operating modes. Standard wireless mode works as a typical router, while 5G/4G USB tethering mode allows mobile internet access by connecting a smartphone or modem. The WISP (public WiFi) mode enables users to create a secure private hotspot from open networks, making it useful for travelers and remote workers.
Its small size makes it an option for dorm rooms, apartments, or compact offices where space is limited.

Security is a key part of the RT-BE58 Go. The router includes AiProtection for commercial-grade security, built-in VPN support, and Guest Network Pro. Users can create isolated networks for smart devices, VPN connections, or child-friendly access. Small businesses can also configure custom guest portals to provide branded internet access to customers.
The RT-BE58 Go is compatible with ASUS AiMesh, allowing it to connect with other AiMesh routers to create a seamless network. This ensures broader coverage and stable connections under a single network name, making it scalable for larger homes or offices.

ASUS has not yet confirmed pricing or regional release dates. The RT-BE58 Go will roll out to global markets in the coming months. With its compact design, WiFi 7 performance, and robust security, the router is positioned as a portable connectivity solution for a wide range of users.
