ASUS Introduces ROG NUC (2025), a Compact Gaming and Creator-Focused Mini PC

ASUS Republic of Gamers has announced the launch of the ROG NUC (2025), a compact mini PC designed for high-performance gaming and content creation. Measuring less than three liters in volume, this small-form-factor device incorporates top-tier hardware, including Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 processors and NVIDIA’s newest RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs.

The ROG NUC (2025) is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, part of the new Series 2 lineup. The processor features a hybrid architecture with 24 cores and operates at boost frequencies of up to 5.4 GHz. It supports up to 96 GB of DDR5-6400 memory, making it suitable for demanding workloads such as gaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. The system also integrates an NPU, which enables support for various AI workloads at the hardware level.

For graphics, users can configure the mini PC with a range of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series Laptop GPUs, including the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, 5070, and 5060. These GPUs feature DLSS 4 with capabilities such as Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Super Resolution, which improve game performance and visual fidelity. Combined with the CPU’s power, the ROG NUC (2025) delivers up to four times the rendering performance compared to previous-generation models.

Thermal performance is managed by ROG’s QuietFlow cooling system, which includes a triple-fan setup and a dual vapor chamber. This cooling approach is designed to keep the system quiet under load while maintaining high levels of performance.

In terms of connectivity, the ROG NUC (2025) comes equipped with Intel Wi-Fi 7 for wireless speeds up to 46 Gbps and Bluetooth 5.4 support. For wired connections, the device offers a range of ports including Thunderbolt 4 USB-C with fast-charging, six USB 10 Gbps ports, and two additional USB 3.2 ports. The unit also includes a vertical stand to support flexible placement in various setups.

The NUC’s design emphasizes upgradeability, with quick-access panels that allow users to change memory and storage without tools. Despite its small size, the system accommodates multiple high-end components and supports modular upgrades. ASUS has also included Aura Sync ARGB lighting, enabling users to customize the appearance to match their existing gaming environment.

ASUS is also offering a three-month trial of Adobe Creative Cloud with select purchases of the ROG NUC (2025). This promotion is intended to support users working in creative fields by giving them access to Adobe’s suite of software tools. Eligibility details and redemption instructions are available on the ASUS website.

With its mix of compact design, high-end hardware, and flexibility, the ROG NUC (2025) targets users who need powerful computing in a space-saving format. The product will be available through ASUS-authorized retailers later this year.
