ASRock has officially announced the release of its right-angled 12V-2×6 cable, a new accessory aimed at improving cable management in gaming and workstation PCs. This release comes in response to growing concerns about cable strain in high-performance systems, particularly with modern graphics cards that require significant power.
The new cable measures 700 mm and features a black sleeved design, finished with ASRock’s Classic Green connector tips that help users verify proper installation. The right-angle connector design reduces the stress placed on cables in tight enclosures, addressing issues caused by sharp bends near the GPU power port.

Meeting the ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 specifications, the cable is built with 16 AWG conductors and supports up to 600 W of power delivery. ASRock recommends pairing the cable with systems that feature power supplies rated at 750 W or higher.
A standout feature of this cable is its built-in NTC temperature sensor. The sensor monitors heat by detecting resistance changes, and when connected to compatible ASRock Taichi and Phantom Gaming PSUs, it enables over-temperature protection. This feature adds another layer of safety for users running power-hungry GPUs under heavy workloads.

To match its product lineup, ASRock includes customizable stickers for its Taichi, Phantom Gaming, and Steel Legend series, allowing users to coordinate the cable with their system’s theme. The company is also offering a two-year warranty for the product.
ASRock advises users to follow the GPU manufacturer’s power recommendations, ensure connectors are fully seated with an audible click, and avoid bending the cable too close to the plug to prevent damage.

The right-angled 12V-2×6 cable is now available at an approximate price of $40, with a listed price of 5,980 yen including tax in Japan. With its focus on safety, compatibility, and ease of installation, the new cable provides a practical option for users upgrading to modern graphics cards and ATX 3.1 platforms.
