Scyrox Launches V12L and V12M Gaming Mice With 8K Polling and PAW Next Sensor

Scyrox is expanding its gaming mouse lineup with two new wireless models, the V12L and V12M, targeting gamers looking for lightweight designs and high-end hardware without paying flagship prices. Both mice feature the PixArt PAW Next sensor, Kailh optical switches, and a Nordic 54H20 MCU, with support for polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz. The Scyrox V12 series starts at $79.99 and will officially go on sale on November 2 through the company’s online store.

The V12L and V12M share the same symmetrical design but differ in size and weight. The smaller V12M measures 122 × 62.69 × 38.31 mm and weighs 49g, while the larger V12L measures 125.96 × 61.01 × 39.85 mm and weighs 51g. Scyrox recommends the V12M for gamers with hands measuring up to 190 mm. Both models feature a mild central hump with slightly flared front and rear sections, providing support for different grip styles, including palm and claw grips.

Scyrox has equipped both mice with Kailh optical switches rated for a 100-million-click mean time between failures (MTBF). They also feature a magnetic scroll wheel encoder and a 250 mAh battery, with 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity. However, the company has not disclosed estimated battery life or provided further details about runtime when using the maximum 8K polling rate.

The V12L and V12M will be available in orange, purple, and red color options. Each version features a frosted translucent shell that reveals parts of the colored internal frame. Scyrox is also introducing a redesigned Halo Interactive wireless receiver with integrated RGB lighting. Its lighting effects can communicate different types of information, including battery level, DPI settings, sensor tracking activity, and mouse clicks.

Alongside the hardware launch, Scyrox has redesigned its web-based driver interface, although it has not shared a detailed list of software changes. Users will be able to remap buttons, adjust DPI and polling rates, and configure settings such as lift-off distance (LOD) and sensor angle. With two size options, a sub-52g design, optical switches, and 8K polling support, the Scyrox V12 series is entering a competitive segment currently occupied by premium wireless gaming mice from Logitech, Razer, and other established brands. The company is positioning the new models as more affordable alternatives, with pricing starting at $79.99.
