ATK has announced its new RS8 series gaming keyboards, introducing two TKL models with different switch technologies and feature sets. The lineup consists of the RS8 Air, a Hall effect keyboard designed for competitive gaming, and the RS8 Neo, a mechanical model that focuses on typing comfort and wireless connectivity.
Both keyboards feature CNC-machined aluminum cases, gasket-mounted construction, and translucent frosted polycarbonate keycaps that allow RGB lighting to shine through. The TKL layout also keeps the overall footprint smaller than a full-size keyboard while retaining the essential keys for gaming and everyday use.

The ATK RS8 Air carries an MSRP of $99.98, but its launch price will be reduced to $74.89. It supports an 8 kHz polling rate alongside adjustable actuation, Rapid Trigger, SOCD, and DKS (Dynamic Keystroke). Users can also customize key assignments and RGB lighting through ATK Hub 3.0 software. A physical switch on the rear provides access to profile switching without requiring software or keyboard shortcuts. The RS8 Air uses an aluminum switch plate for a firmer typing feel and consistent actuation detection.
ATK has also included five layers of internal sound treatment to reduce unwanted reverberation from the aluminum construction. Black and white versions will be available with Lucid Blade or Ice Blade switches, while pink and Lake Green options will feature Ice Blade switches at an additional $10.

The RS8 Neo takes a different approach, replacing the Air’s aluminum switch plate and stiffer gasket arrangement with a flexible polycarbonate plate and softer gaskets. It retains the same overall design and TKL layout but adds 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, supported by a 12,000 mAh battery. Despite being a wireless mechanical keyboard, the RS8 Neo also supports an 8 kHz polling rate, SOCD, and Mod Tap. Its Plus Music Rhythm mode can synchronize the RGB lighting effects with music.
The keyboard has an MSRP of $84.98, with a launch price of $59.98. Available versions include white, black, and Lake Green with Ice Steed switches, as well as a pink edition with Anya Max switches. ATK will also offer an Arctic Fox edition with Aurora Fox switches and five-sided dye-sublimated keycaps instead of the translucent polycarbonate keycaps used on the other versions.

With the RS8 series, ATK is targeting both Hall effect and mechanical keyboard buyers without changing the overall design or layout. The RS8 Air is aimed at competitive players who want Rapid Trigger and adjustable actuation, while the RS8 Neo offers wireless connectivity and a more flexible typing structure at a lower launch price.
