Golden Field is entering the growing magnetic gaming keyboard market with the WINGS 68, a compact keyboard built around adjustable magnetic switches, an 8KHz polling rate, and a claimed Rapid Trigger accuracy of just 0.005mm. The new model combines high-speed input features with a CNC-machined aluminum chassis and a 68-key layout designed for gaming and everyday use.
At the center of the WINGS 68 is Golden Field’s “Orbit” magnetic axis system. The keyboard supports independent dynamic detection and calibration for individual keys, giving users control over how each switch responds. Golden Field also lists a 192KHz channel scan rate alongside the 8KHz polling rate, while the Rapid Trigger system is rated for 0.005mm accuracy.
The keyboard uses custom “Silver Wing Magnetic Axis” switches developed by Guantai. These switches have an initial force of 37±5gf and provide 3.5±0.2mm of key travel. Their bottom magnetic induction intensity is rated at 480±60Gs, while the stated lifespan reaches 100 million keystrokes.
The WINGS 68’s construction is also a major part of the design. Its chassis is made from CNC-machined and anodized unibody aluminum alloy, with a mirrored stainless steel decorative panel mounted on the back. Inside, Golden Field has added an aluminum alloy positioning plate and four layers of damping material.
The keyboard uses “Star Ring” themed PC keycaps with a diffuse matte finish and translucent elements. The PCB features south-facing RGB backlighting, allowing the lighting to work with the translucent keycap design without changing the keyboard’s compact appearance.
The combination of magnetic switches and Rapid Trigger is particularly relevant for competitive games where small changes in key position can affect movement and response. The per-key dynamic detection and calibration also gives the WINGS 68 more adjustment options than a conventional mechanical keyboard.
Golden Field has not yet detailed the full pricing and regional availability for the WINGS 68. The keyboard’s specifications place it among the newer magnetic gaming keyboards focused on high polling rates, adjustable input behavior, and Rapid Trigger functionality.
