be quiet! is taking its focus on quiet PC hardware into a new part of the gaming setup with the Light Mount TKL mechanical keyboard and Mousepad XL. The new keyboard combines an 80% tenkeyless layout with the company’s Silent V2 mechanical switches, hot-swappable support, per-key ARGB lighting, and software-based customization. The Mousepad is designed to complete the setup with a 900 x 500 mm surface aimed at users who want enough space for both a keyboard and mouse.
The Light Mount TKL is built for gamers and desktop users who want a traditional keyboard layout without the extra space taken up by a number pad. Its TKL design leaves more room for mouse movement while keeping the function row, navigation keys, and arrow keys found on larger keyboards.

be quiet! will offer the keyboard with two Silent V2 switch options. Silent Orange is a linear switch, while Silent Black uses a tactile design. Both versions feature a thicker gold compact point and optimized lubrication, with the switches designed to provide a quieter typing experience without giving up responsiveness.
The keyboard uses a three-layer dampening system, with foam placed between the switches and PCB, below the PCB, and inside the bottom housing. It also comes with PBT double-shot keycaps, a brushed aluminium top plate, and support for hot-swappable 5-pin MX-style switches. A detachable braided USB-C cable is included, while folding feet offer three angle positions. A modular magnetic palm rest is also included for users who want additional support during longer sessions.
For controls, the Light Mount TKL features an aluminium 3D media wheel and three additional keys that can be configured for macros or multimedia functions. Per-key ARGB lighting and illuminated side bars provide further customization.

be quiet! is also adding Quick Tap, an SOCD-based feature that prioritizes the most recent input when opposing movement keys are pressed. This can be useful in games where quick directional changes are part of the control scheme.
The keyboard can be configured through be quiet!’s IO Center software for Windows. Users can remap keys, create shortcuts and macros, adjust per-key RGB lighting, configure Quick Tap, assign FN-layer functions, and enable Game Mode. Macro recording supports up to 999 events, while onboard memory allows many settings to remain active without the software running.

IO Center for Web is also available for users who do not want to install desktop software or are using another operating system. The browser-based version works through most Chrome-based browsers and provides access to many of the keyboard’s configuration options. The software also includes Color Calibration, which can be used to adjust the Light Mount’s LED colors to better match other components.
Alongside the keyboard, be quiet! has introduced the Mousepad XL. The large desk mat measures 900 x 500 mm, giving users enough surface area for a keyboard and mouse while maintaining a consistent tracking surface across the desk.’

The Mousepad XL uses a soft fabric surface designed for mouse tracking and long-term comfort. A 3 mm anti-slip rubber base helps prevent movement during use and can reduce vibrations and desk noise. Stitched edges are included to limit fraying and help the pad retain its shape over time.
