AULA Launches SC880 Gaming Mouse Series With PAW3955 Sensor and Dual 8K

AULA has launched its new SC880 gaming mouse series with two models, the SC880 Max and SC880 Ultra. Both mice are designed for gaming users looking for a lightweight wireless mouse with high polling rates, while the main hardware difference is the sensor used in each version. The SC880 Max comes with the PixArt PAW3950 sensor, while the SC880 Ultra uses the PAW3955.

Both AULA SC880 models measure 116.5 × 61.5 × 38.7mm, making them suitable for small to medium-sized hands. The mice use a new-generation ultra-fine spray coating on the outer surface, and AULA is offering both versions in black and white.

The shell design is slightly different between the two models. The SC880 Max has a cutout only on the bottom section, while the SC880 Ultra has cutouts on both the front and rear sections. These changes also affect the weight. The SC880 Max weighs around 54g, while the SC880 Ultra comes in at approximately 52g.

AULA has equipped both mice with its AL0A e-sports chip, developed by Langzhu. The SC880 series supports an 8KHz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, giving users the option to use the high polling rate without being limited to a wired connection. Both versions feature a 300mAh battery for wireless operation.

For the main buttons, the SC880 series uses Huanno pink dot microswitches with a rated lifespan of up to 80 million clicks. The scroll wheel uses TTC gold components with a rated lifespan of up to 2 million clicks. These components are shared between the Max and Ultra models, so the sensor and shell design remain the main differences between the two mice.

  • SC880 Max: PAW3950 sensor and around 54g weight

  • Dimensions: 116.5 × 61.5 × 38.7mm
  • Wired and wireless 8KHz polling support
  • AL0A e-sports chip developed by Langzhu
  • 300mAh battery
  • Huanno pink dot microswitches rated for 80 million clicks

The AULA SC880 series targets gamers who want a compact and lightweight mouse without giving up features such as wireless 8K polling. The SC880 Max provides the PAW3950 sensor in a 54g design, while the SC880 Ultra reduces the weight to around 52g and upgrades to the PAW3955 sensor. With the same dimensions, 300mAh battery, dual 8K support, and switch hardware, the choice between the two will mainly come down to sensor preference and shell design.
