AOOSTAR has announced a refreshed version of its NEX 395 mini PC, introducing a new 64GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory configuration. The updated model keeps the same hardware platform while offering another option for users looking for a compact desktop powered by AMD’s latest AI-focused processor.
The AOOSTAR NEX 395 is built around the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and is designed for productivity, content creation, AI workloads, and multitasking. The mini PC measures 284 × 159 × 52 mm and weighs approximately 2kg, giving it a larger footprint than many compact desktop systems while providing room for enhanced cooling and storage expansion.
To maintain stable performance under sustained workloads, AOOSTAR equips the NEX 395 with its Glacier 5.0 vapor chamber cooling system. The cooling solution combines a vapor chamber with copper cooling fins and is paired with a dedicated cooling fan for the M.2 SSDs. According to the company, the system can support processor power delivery of up to 140W. The chassis also features a quick-release panel, allowing users to access the internal components more easily when installing or upgrading storage drives.
The mini PC includes three PCIe Gen4 ×4 M.2 2280 slots, giving users the flexibility to install multiple NVMe SSDs for large game libraries, media projects, or professional workloads. Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi 7, enabling compatibility with the latest wireless networking standard.
The NEX 395 also offers a wide selection of external ports, making it suitable for connecting multiple displays, high-speed storage devices, and networking equipment.
