Noctua and Prusa Research have expanded their 3D printing filament collaboration with the launch of new PETG Prusament materials in Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown colors. The new filaments follow the previously released PLA versions and are designed for users who need stronger and more heat-resistant materials for their 3D-printed projects.

PLA is widely used in 3D printing because it is easy to print and works well for everyday models, prototypes, and decorative parts. However, PETG provides improved toughness, durability, and temperature resistance, making it a better choice for parts that need to handle mechanical stress or higher operating temperatures.
According to Noctua and Prusa, the new PETG materials are suitable for projects such as custom PC cases, electronics enclosures, fan mounts, and air ducts. These applications can benefit from PETG’s ability to maintain better performance in environments where temperatures may go beyond 50°C.

The new Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown filaments have been developed to match Noctua’s familiar color scheme. This allows users to create custom 3D-printed components that visually match Noctua cooling products, including its popular CPU coolers and fans.
Prusa Research manufactures the new PETG filaments in-house, allowing the company to monitor production quality and maintain consistent filament performance. The manufacturing process includes continuous checks for filament diameter, color accuracy, and overall material quality.
Roland Mossig, CEO of Noctua, said the company has already seen many creative projects made with the Noctua-colored PLA Prusaments and expects users to create more advanced designs with the new PETG versions.

The new Prusament PETG Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown filaments are now available through Prusa’s online store. Both versions are priced at €32.99 (VAT included) in Europe and $32.99 (import duties included) for international buyers.
Key Features of Prusament PETG Noctua Filaments:
- Available in Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown colors
- Made from PETG material for improved durability
- Higher temperature resistance compared to PLA
- Suitable for PC components, enclosures, and cooling accessories
- Designed for better color matching with Noctua products
- Manufactured by Prusa Research in Prague, Czech Republic
