Thermalright Launches Royal Pretor 130 Vision CPU Air Cooler with 3.95-Inch LCD Display

Thermalright has announced the Royal Pretor 130 Vision, a new premium CPU Air Cooler designed for desktop enthusiasts who want both strong cooling performance and a built-in display. The new cooler combines a large dual-tower heatsink, six copper heatpipes, and a pair of high-performance cooling fans with a 3.95-inch color LCD mounted on the top cover. While display-equipped liquid coolers have become increasingly common, the Royal Pretor 130 Vision brings similar functionality to a traditional air-cooling solution.

The cooler features a dual fin-stack (D-type) heatsink that uses a nickel-plated copper base to improve heat transfer from the processor. Heat is carried through six copper heatpipes before being distributed across the two aluminum fin stacks, allowing the cooler to handle demanding workloads generated by modern desktop processors. Thermalright has designed the cooler with a push-pull airflow configuration, using two fans of different sizes to improve cooling efficiency across the heatsink.

With both fans installed, the Royal Pretor 130 Vision measures 130 × 140 × 165 mm. Thermalright has not shared the overall weight of the cooler at the time of its announcement.

The Royal Pretor 130 Vision includes an integrated 3.95-inch true-color LCD with a 480 × 480-pixel resolution. The display connects through an internal 9-pin USB 2.0 header, which provides both power and data communication. Using Thermalright’s software, users can view real-time system information gathered through ACPI, including hardware monitoring data, while also displaying custom images and other personalized content. The screen adds another option for builders who want to personalize their systems without using external monitoring devices.

Cooling duties are handled by two PWM fans equipped with Thermalright’s second-generation S-FDB bearings. The front-mounted TL-HD13-X28 is a 130 mm fan with a 28 mm thickness. It operates at speeds of up to 1,750 RPM while delivering airflow of up to 81.88 CFM. The fan also produces up to 2.38 mm H₂O of static pressure and a maximum noise level of 28.3 dBA, balancing cooling performance with relatively quiet operation.

The second fan, positioned between the two fin stacks, is the 120 mm TL-H12-X28-R9. Like the front fan, it also features a 28 mm thickness and a second-generation S-FDB bearing. This fan reaches speeds of up to 2,400 RPM while pushing as much as 98.2 CFM of airflow. It generates up to 2.48 mm H₂O of static pressure with a maximum rated noise output of 32.7 dBA. Working together, both fans create a push-pull airflow setup that helps move heat efficiently through the large heatsink.

The Royal Pretor 130 Vision arrives as PC builders continue to show interest in premium air coolers that combine reliable cooling with visual customization. Integrated LCDs have become popular on all-in-one liquid coolers, and Thermalright is now extending that concept to air cooling for users who prefer lower maintenance while still wanting a modern appearance inside their systems.
