Kensington has announced the new Pro Fit Ergo KB620-RC Wireless Rechargeable EQ Keyboard, expanding its range of ergonomic desktop accessories for business users, IT professionals, and home office workers. The new wireless keyboard is designed to provide a more comfortable typing experience while keeping the familiar keyboard layout that most users are already accustomed to. Instead of requiring users to adjust to a split keyboard design, the KB620-RC combines a gently curved ergonomic wave layout with a built-in wrist rest to help improve comfort during long hours of work.
The keyboard features a compact 1800 layout, offering nearly all the functionality of a traditional full-size keyboard while taking up less space on the desk. It retains the dedicated numeric keypad, making it suitable for users who regularly work with spreadsheets, accounting software, or data entry applications. Kensington says the compact design helps maximize workspace without removing essential keys.

The Pro Fit Ergo KB620-RC is compatible with Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS, allowing it to fit into a wide range of work environments. It supports connections to up to three devices at the same time through two Bluetooth channels and one 2.4GHz wireless USB-A receiver. Users can switch between connected devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones, with a single key press, making it easier to work across multiple platforms throughout the day.
“Ergonomic products shouldn’t require users to choose between comfort and productivity,” said Lisa Schuiteboer-Shuler, Senior Manager of Product Marketing at Kensington. “The KB620-RC delivers the comfort benefits of an ergonomic keyboard in a design that feels intuitive from day one, helping users work comfortably without disrupting their workflow.”
The optional Kensington Konnect software adds customization features, allowing users to program up to 20 keys. These programmable shortcuts can be assigned to launch applications, execute macros, remap keys, switch profiles, or quickly open a preferred AI application, helping users tailor the keyboard to their daily workflow.

Power is supplied by a built-in rechargeable battery that can provide up to three months of use on a single charge, depending on usage. Charging is handled through a USB-C port, removing the need for disposable batteries. LED status indicators on the keyboard display battery level, wireless connection status, device pairing, Num Lock, and Caps Lock, giving users quick access to important information.
As part of Kensington’s EQ product lineup, the Pro Fit Ergo KB620-RC also incorporates sustainability-focused materials. The outer case and keycaps are made with 49% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, while the packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), reflecting the company’s efforts to reduce the environmental impact of its products.
