TEAMGROUP has expanded its desktop memory lineup with the introduction of two new high-frequency DDR5 modules: the ELITE PLUS DDR5 8000 MT/s and ELITE DDR5 8000 MT/s. Both memory kits are aimed at users who want higher-performance DDR5 solutions while staying within JEDEC standard specifications.
The new modules operate at 8000 MT/s and maintain a voltage level of 1.1V. They also feature CL56-56-56-128 timings, offering a balance between speed and system stability. Unlike heavily overclocked memory kits, these modules are designed to deliver consistent performance while maintaining compatibility across a wide range of desktop platforms.
TEAMGROUP has positioned these new DDR5 modules as an upgrade for everyday computing, gaming setups, and multitasking environments. By using a lower 1.1V operating voltage, the company aims to reduce power consumption, which can help improve thermal efficiency and potentially extend overall system lifespan.
The memory also integrates DDR5 Same-Bank Refresh technology along with optimized IC architecture. These improvements are intended to maintain smoother performance during heavy workloads, especially when multiple applications are running simultaneously. This makes the new ELITE series suitable not only for gaming systems but also for productivity-focused PCs.
The ELITE PLUS DDR5 8000 MT/s and ELITE DDR5 8000 MT/s will initially be released in a 16GB x2 dual-channel kit configuration. TEAMGROUP has confirmed that both products are expected to arrive on Amazon in North America starting in June 2026.
With this release, TEAMGROUP continues to strengthen its position in the DDR5 memory market by offering higher-frequency options that stay within standard operating guidelines.
