PXN Introduces GT ONE Steering Wheel for Expanding Sim Racing Setups

PXN has introduced the GT ONE Steering Wheel, expanding its sim racing lineup with a product aimed at users moving toward more advanced racing setups. The new Steering Wheel combines a detailed control layout with broader compatibility, allowing it to fit into both PXN’s own ecosystem and third-party configurations.

The GT ONE is built around a GT-style form factor with a 300 mm diameter, offering a layout designed to support multiple hand positions during long sessions. The grip uses TPE materials to improve comfort, while the internal structure relies on a fiberglass composite frame. Carbon fiber elements are used on the paddle shifters and surface finish, contributing to durability while maintaining a balanced weight.

The GT ONE is built around a 78-input configuration. The wheel features four paddle shifters, twelve programmable buttons, three absolute encoders, two thumb encoders, and two seven-way switches. This layout provides direct access to a wide range of in-race adjustments, including traction control, brake bias, and pit management functions. By integrating these controls into the wheel itself, the design reduces reliance on external inputs, which can be useful in competitive scenarios.

Telemetry and lighting are also part of the package. The wheel features 15 RPM LEDs and fully backlit buttons, all of which support 8-bit color customization. These elements provide visual feedback during races and can be adjusted through PXN’s software or via SimHub integration. Users can modify lighting behavior, button assignments, and telemetry settings depending on their preferences and the simulation title in use.

Compatibility remains a central focus for the GT ONE. While it is designed to pair with PXN’s direct drive wheelbases, including the VD6 and VD10, it also supports USB connectivity for use with other setups and includes options for third-party quick-release systems. This allows the wheel to integrate into a wider range of sim racing rigs without requiring a full ecosystem change.

The GT ONE is available starting today with an early price of $199 / €209 / £199, with the standard retail price set slightly higher after the initial period. PXN is also offering bundle options for its direct-drive wheelbases, allowing users to build or upgrade their setup with matching components.
