Emeet C960 Ultra Launches with Sony 1/1.5-inch Sensor, 4K Video and PDAF Autofocus

Emeet has introduced the C960 Ultra, the newest model in its long-running C960 Webcam Series, which has already surpassed 2 million units in global sales. The launch continues the company’s push into the professional and creator-focused segment, where demand for higher resolution video and more reliable autofocus systems continues to grow.

The C960 Ultra is built around a Sony 1/1.5-inch large-format image sensor, which is designed to capture more light and deliver improved detail compared to standard webcam sensors. This hardware is paired with 4K ultra-high-definition video recording to deliver clearer image quality for video conferencing, livestreaming, and content production workflows. The larger sensor size is particularly relevant for users who often work in mixed lighting environments, where typical webcams can struggle with noise and reduced sharpness.

Autofocus performance is handled through PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), a system commonly found in higher-end cameras. This allows the webcam to maintain quicker and more stable focus tracking when the subject moves within the frame. For users who switch between talking head setups, product demonstrations, or dynamic streaming environments, this helps reduce focus hunting and keeps the image consistent.

In addition to its imaging hardware, the C960 Ultra integrates AI-based image processing features. These functions automatically adjust exposure levels and color balance depending on the surrounding lighting conditions. Instead of relying heavily on manual tuning or third-party software, the webcam aims to maintain a balanced, natural-looking image across different setups, whether in a dim home office or a brighter studio space.

The design of the C960 Ultra also marks a shift toward a more premium approach. It uses a full-aluminum alloy body that improves durability and supports better heat dissipation during long recording or streaming sessions. The design is minimal, with a focus on fitting into modern workstation setups without drawing attention away from the user on camera. This makes it suitable for professionals who value a clean and consistent on-screen appearance.

With this release, Emeet continues to refine its C960 lineup by focusing on sensor upgrades, autofocus improvements, and AI-driven imaging enhancements. The C960 Ultra sits above standard 1080p webcams and is positioned for users who require higher clarity and more stable performance in daily communication or content creation tasks.

While pricing and regional availability have not yet been fully detailed, the device is expected to reach global online retailers in the coming weeks.
