Xiaomi Mijia Air Conditioner Eco Listed for Europe with AI Energy Saving Mode and App Controls

Xiaomi has added the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco series to its global website, indicating that the new smart home appliance range is planned for release in Europe. The listing confirms four models with different capacity levels, focusing on energy efficiency, connected features, and compatibility with the company’s smart ecosystem. The new lineup follows earlier Mijia Air Conditioner Pro devices that became available in several European markets in 2025, and shares similarities with Mijia Air Conditioner Eco 4-Star variants recently spotted in Malaysia.

The Mijia Air Conditioner Eco series will be available in 2.6 kW3.5 kW5.2 kW, and 7.0 kW configurations, covering a wide range of room sizes. Xiaomi indicates that the units are suitable for spaces ranging from approximately 10–20 m² to 50–70 m², depending on the selected model. According to the published specifications, the air conditioners can cool a room in about 30 seconds, while heating performance is rated to begin in roughly 60 seconds. The company highlights its AI Energy Saving Mode as a key feature, with the 3.5 kW model said to reduce energy consumption by up to 24.5% when enabled.

Differences between the models include internal hardware changes designed to match their cooling and heating capacities. The 2.6 kW and 3.5 kW variants use a 108 mm cross-flow fan, while the 5.2 kW and 7.0 kW versions include a wider 118 mm fan. Operating temperature support also varies slightly: the smaller units are rated for temperatures between -20°C and 60°C, while the larger models can operate as low as -32°C and as high as 60°C.

Each model includes both a traditional remote control and smart features accessible through the Xiaomi Home app, allowing users to monitor energy usage, receive maintenance reminders, and install OTA updates. The system also supports voice control through Google Assistant, expanding compatibility with existing smart home setups. Additional functions include a customizable sleep mode, timer scheduling, dry mode for humidity reduction, and automatic restart after power outages.

Product pages for the Mijia Air Conditioner Eco series display EU energy efficiency labels, suggesting that Xiaomi is preparing the devices for distribution across European markets, including Germany and Spain. Pricing details and exact availability dates have not yet been confirmed, though the listing indicates the launch could take place soon as Xiaomi continues to expand its connected home appliance portfolio in the region.
