Forza Horizon 6 Minimum and Recommended PC Specs Revealed

With the May 19 release of Forza Horizon 6 approaching, Microsoft and Playground Games have shared the official PC hardware requirements for the new racing title. The details cover a wide range of systems, from budget-friendly setups to high-end rigs.

The minimum requirements are designed for 1080p gaming at 60 FPS with low settings. Players will need an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600, 16 GB of RAM, an SSD, and a GPU such as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, Radeon RX 6500 XT, or Intel Arc A380.

For 1440p at 60 FPS on high settings, the recommended requirements call for an Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, paired with 16 GB of RAM and a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, Radeon RX 6700 XT, or Intel Arc A580 GPU.

The Extreme settings for native 4K at 60 FPS require an Intel Core i7-12700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, 24 GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 7900 XT. The Extreme RT option, which includes 4K upscaling with ray tracing, increases the requirements to 32 GB of RAM, an NVMe SSD, and a GPU such as the RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070 XT.

The game supports DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3 and 4, and Intel XeSS 2.1, along with ray-traced reflections and global illumination. The engine is designed to deliver high framerates, and the game will also run on the Steam Deck and ASUS ROG Ally, though graphics presets for these handhelds have not yet been confirmed.

These specifications show that Forza Horizon 6 is targeting both mid-range and high-end PCs, allowing a wide audience to experience its new racing environments with varying levels of visual detail and performance.
