ATK Introduces RS6+ Aluminum Keyboard Series With Magnetic Switch Technology

ATKGear has introduced the RS6+ series wired gaming keyboard, adding a new aluminum-built option to its peripheral lineup. The keyboard series uses the company’s third-generation Ultra magnetic switch technology and focuses on fast input response and customizable key actuation designed for gaming and fast typing tasks.

The RS6+ keyboards support an 8kHz polling rate and a 32kHz full-key scan rate, which allows the system to register key inputs at a higher frequency than traditional keyboards. According to the specifications shared by the company, the device offers a transmission latency of 0.08 ms and an end-to-end latency of 0.28 ms. Rapid Trigger accuracy is rated at 0.001 mm, allowing the key reset point to respond to very small movements. Magnetic switch designs have gained attention in gaming keyboards because they allow adjustable actuation points and faster key resets compared to conventional mechanical switches.

The RS6+ lineup is divided into Standard and Ultra variants, with differences in switches and internal materials.

The Standard model is equipped with ATK Snowblade PRO switches. It uses an aluminum alloy mounting plate along with silicone foam inserts that help reduce internal vibrations during typing. This model is listed at 499.8 yuan after subsidies, placing it as the more accessible option within the RS6+ lineup.

The Ultra model upgrades several internal components. It features Ice Blade PRO switches paired with an FR4 gold-plated mounting plate. Instead of silicone foam, the Ultra version includes PORON acoustic foam, a material often used in enthusiast keyboards for sound control and improved keystroke feel. The Ultra version is priced at 584.8 yuan after subsidies.

The included keycap sets also differ between the two versions, in addition to the original keycaps installed on the keyboards.

Both RS6+ models are powered by a 480MHz MCU controller, designed to handle high scanning rates and rapid input processing. The keyboard uses a 1.2mm thick PCB, providing a rigid base for the switches and internal components.

ATK has also implemented a five-layer acoustic structure inside the keyboard. This layout includes composite under-switch pads and multiple layers of sound-absorbing material intended to reduce resonance while maintaining a consistent typing feel.

The RS6+ series combines magnetic switch technology, high polling rates, and an aluminum chassis in a design aimed at gaming users who prefer quick input response and adjustable actuation. Features such as Rapid Trigger support and high scan rates are increasingly used in gaming keyboards designed for fast-paced titles where rapid key resets can affect movement and reaction times.

The RS6+ series is currently available in China. Details about international availability have not yet been announced.
