Razer Announces BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed White Edition for Xbox and PlayStation

Razer has announced the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed White Edition for Xbox and the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed White Edition for PlayStation, expanding its console headset lineup with a new color option. The latest models introduce a white finish to one of the company’s lightweight wireless gaming headsets, while keeping the same core specifications and feature set as the existing versions.

The White Edition is designed to align visually with current-generation consoles, offering a brighter alternative to the traditional darker variants. The aviation-inspired design language of the BlackShark series remains unchanged, with an emphasis on a functional structure built around competitive gaming needs. The new colorway targets users who want their headset to match modern Xbox and PlayStation setups without compromising on performance.

Audio duties are handled by Razer’s TriForce 50 mm Drivers Gen-2. The company states that the updated drivers are tuned to deliver improved high-frequency detail, clearer midrange output, and controlled bass response. The headset is also designed to provide a wider soundstage and accurate positional audio, which can play a key role in multiplayer titles where directional cues such as footsteps and reload sounds influence gameplay decisions. At the same time, the tuning supports cinematic single-player experiences with balanced audio reproduction.

Weighing approximately 270 grams, the BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed White Edition is built for extended sessions. It features breathable ear cushions and a lightweight frame intended to reduce strain during long hours of use. The headset maintains a secure yet comfortable fit, aiming to support both casual and competitive play.

For connectivity, the headset uses low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless technology to keep audio in sync with on-screen action. Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless is also supported, allowing users to toggle between 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connections without needing to manually re-pair devices. This enables a quick shift from console gaming to mobile calls or other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Voice communication is handled by a detachable HyperClear Cardioid 9.9 mm microphone. The mic is tuned to focus on voice capture while minimizing background noise, making it suitable for party chat and team-based games. Users can detach the microphone when not required.

Battery life is rated at up to 48 hours on console and up to 70 hours on PC. Razer also claims that a 15-minute charge can provide up to six hours of playtime, helping reduce downtime between sessions. With the White Edition, Razer adds a fresh visual option to its BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed lineup while maintaining the performance profile aimed at Xbox and PlayStation players. Pricing and availability may vary depending on the region.
