ATK Gear has built its reputation around lightweight gaming mice, but the esports-focused brand has also been steadily growing its Hall effect keyboard lineup. A recent teaser posted on X suggests that ATK is preparing to expand that range further with a new model called the RS7 Air. The upcoming keyboard appears to be positioned as a lower-cost alternative to the existing RS7 V2 models, targeting a price segment that ATK previously covered with earlier generations.
The teaser does not reveal full specifications, but it provides enough visual detail to highlight some clear differences. The RS7 Air appears to keep the familiar 75% layout used across the RS7 series, along with clear polycarbonate keycaps and an aluminum chassis. These elements suggest that ATK is not abandoning the core design language of the RS7 lineup, even with a more cost-focused product.

The RGB side-light window has been reduced compared to the current RS7 models, making the lighting on the RS7 Air appear smaller and less prominent. The chassis also looks more simplified, with fewer design accents and decorative elements throughout the body. This cleaner design approach likely helps reduce manufacturing costs while still retaining a solid metal construction.
There are also subtle details that raise questions about the internal construction. The current RS7 keyboards use a dual-mount design, which contributes to their typing feel and overall structure. ATK has not confirmed whether the RS7 Air will retain this feature. However, the way the top and bottom case sections separate parallel to the PCB suggests that a similar mounting system could still be present, though this remains unconfirmed.

In terms of market positioning, the RS7 Air seems intended to fill a gap between $100 and $200. At present, ATK’s RS7 V2 lineup includes the standard RS7 priced at $199.99 and the RS7 Ultra at $239.99. This leaves limited options for users looking for a Hall effect keyboard with premium materials at a lower price. Earlier RS7 V1 models previously occupied this range, and the RS7 Air appears to be designed to address that absence.
ATK has not shared a release date or official pricing for the RS7 Air, stating only that the keyboard is “coming soon.” More details are expected as the company moves closer to launch, including information on features, switch options, and regional availability.
