VGN has officially launched the Lightning 75 Extreme, a single-mode wired magnetic keyboard that brings new features to the high-performance keyboard segment. Along with three standard versions, the company introduced a limited edition co-branded model in collaboration with Blue Arrow Aerospace’s cultural and creative brand, Blue Arrow Zaoban. This variant draws design inspiration from the Zhuque-3 rocket and offers a collectible option for enthusiasts.
The Lightning 75 Extreme is built with an all-aluminum CNC-machined chassis and a magnetic levitation gasket mounting system. It also features quick-release ball bearings for easy maintenance and adjustment. Five layers of acoustic filling and a carbon fiber positioning plate are included, enhancing stability, noise reduction, and overall typing experience.

The keyboard uses a three-chip system with dual main controllers and a single ADC. This design allows direct connection to button I/O, improving both accuracy and response times. Users can choose between two magnetic switch options: the KAI Ice Cream switch or the TTC Magneto Helios switch. Both switches support 0.001mm Rapid Trigger precision, 8kHz polling rate, 256kHz full key scan rate, 0.05mm initial actuation distance, and 0.1ms latency, making the keyboard suitable for tasks requiring precise input.

The limited Zhuque-3 edition highlights VGN’s collaboration with Blue Arrow Zaoban, offering a visually distinct version for collectors while maintaining the technical specifications of the standard models. The Lightning 75 Extreme combines a durable design with advanced features, catering to users looking for a magnetic keyboard with low latency and high responsiveness.
VGN confirmed that the Lightning 75 Extreme is available for purchase through official channels, providing options for both standard and limited edition models.
