ASUS has listed its limited-edition GeForce RTX 5090 ROG MATRIX graphics card for $3,999 in its U.S. store, offering one of the most advanced entries in the RTX 50-series “Blackwell” lineup. The GPU is limited to just 1,000 units globally.
The ROG MATRIX model uses a 3 oz copper PCB to improve heat dissipation and reduce voltage drops across key components. This design is aimed at maintaining stable performance and supporting higher overclocking potential compared to standard models.

Cooling is managed through a four-fan system, with three fans in the front and one in the back in a push-pull configuration. The shroud carries ASUS’s ROG red theme and includes a distinctive fan ring along with an acrylic plate displaying the ROG MATRIX logo.
For power delivery, the GPU supports an optional BTF-supplied system and a 16-pin 12V-2×6 connector, allowing for a total power of up to 800 watts, compared with the 575 watts of the standard Founders Edition. ASUS estimates this higher power limit contributes to a 10% increase in performance. The boost clock is listed at 2,730 MHz for standard operation and 2,760 MHz when using the OC BIOS mode.

A unique feature of the card is a Bosch Sensortec BMI323 inertial measurement unit (IMU) embedded on the PCB. This sensor combines an accelerometer and gyroscope to monitor the card’s alignment, alerting users if it tilts or moves.
The RTX 5090 ROG MATRIX 30th anniversary edition represents ASUS’s most advanced offering in the Blackwell series, combining high-performance cooling, power delivery, and integrated monitoring features. Full specifications and additional features are listed on ASUS’s official website.
